Fanny Driscoll

Fanny Driscoll

We have a poetess in the family! Today I added about 80-90 poems written by Fanny Driscoll, daughter of Daniel O’Driscoll. Some of the poems are duplicated only to show that some were published many years apart and in different publications. Fanny wrote poetry that was published in a number of newspapers around the world.

I still have to format some of the descriptions on the poems, but have made the poems live anyway. Many have a sadness to them. One wonders if Fanny was a sad lady or if the mood of the poems was an assignment by her editor. It will be interesting to match the dates of the poems to the events of her life.
